Michèle Forbes

Michèle Forbes is an actor and writer. Over her career she has graced Irish stages and screens in numerous production, from the Netflix series BODKIN to theatre in New York. Michèle's film work includes the BAFTA-winning OMAGH (Paul Greengrass) for which she won Best Actress at the Monte Carlo Television Awards, and was nominated Best Actress at the Irish Film & Television Awards. 

Michèle has written for stage and radio.  Her debut novel GHOST MOTH (for which she recorded the audiobook) was shortlisted for several awards including BEST NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR IRISH BOOK AWARDS and FIRST BOOK AWARD EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL BOOK FESTIVAL.

Originally from Belfast, Michèle's natural accent has been softened by years living in Dublin, which gives her a wonderful range.
